Tucked away in the hills of Main Ridge, this 36-acre private estate offers a family friendly peaceful escape with views of Bass Strait. Located opposite Arthurs Seat Forest, the property is rich in native plants and wildlife, with kangaroos, echidnas, wedge-tail eagles, and local birds all around.

This nature getaway is truly one-of-a-kind. When booking this accommodation, please keep in mind that it is a country family home that we lovingly open up to guests. If you’re looking for a hotel-style experience, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re after a unique, off-grid, luxury farm stay—this is perfect for you! You'll have the house all to yourselves.
In winter, you’ll arrive to two indoor fireplaces and one outdoor fireplace, all ready for you to light and enjoy. In summer you'll have access to one adult and one kids stand up paddle board, boogie boards, a kids kayak, beach towels and a beach cabana (available on request). McCrae Beach is 10 mins drive from the property.
The property offers exceptional views—wide open landscapes, ocean views, abundant wildlife, and spectacular natural scenery.
The kitchen is the hub of the house sitting proud in the middle of the dining and main living spaces. In the drawers you'll find all the spices, utensils and cooking equipment needed to satisfy even the most enthusiastic cooks. The kids’ rooms are warm, welcoming, and filled with toys and wonder for little (and not so little) ones.
The home is thoroughly cleaned before each stay, and fresh linens and towels are provided. You’re also welcome to use whatever you find in the pantry.
The main house features four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a seperate toilet.
Downstairs is a rustic games room with ping pong table and an additional semi outdoor bathroom with open shower and outdoor bath with stunning sunset views.
The two cozy fireplaces inside add warmth and charm, while the outdoor BBQ room, outdoor fireplace, and entertaining decks provide the perfect spots to gather and enjoy the surroundings. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees, gums, and native shrubs, it’s a great place to relax or entertain.
