The Cottage is most secluded among the natural mountain bush. You probably will be visited by some of the local animals including deer, horses, kangaroo, wallaby, and maybe the odd wombat.

COTTAGE DETAILS
The Cottage is a beautiful 1 bedroom (queen size) stone cottage with en suite bathroom, cosy lounge/dining with wood fire, self contained kitchen, and outdoor setting with BBQ for that end of day drink and relax watching the sun go down.
You may be visited by one or more of the local animals during your stay.
Please follow the directions below to go straight to the Cottage for self checkin, as it is easier than going to reception first. We will leave the key in the Cottage door. Please phone us as you depart Jindabyne to let us know that you are on your way, thank you.
Directions to the property from Jindabyne are take the 2nd round-a-bout left out of Jindabyne along the Barry Way.
DIRECT TO THE COTTAGE: Follow the Barry Way for 27kms of bitumen, then another 1.5km of dirt road. The Cottage gate is set back on the left near a power pole and has a small red and white sign saying that Snowy Wilderness is a sanctuary. Enter this gate by lifting the chain over the gate post and please shut the gate behind you. Follow the track left approximately 60 meters to a carport and you will see the cottage below you on the right. Lights will be left on in the cottage to assist you if you are arriving after dark.
TO RECEPTION: Follow the Barry Way for 27kms of bitumen, then another 2kms of dirt road. Our gate is set back a little on the left and you will see a large timber sign on the fence "Snowy Wilderness". Once through the gate follow our dirt road another 2kms (passing through another gate along the way) to the reception in the historic Wool Shed.
