Set on 238 acres of bushland surrounded by national forest, Wild Off-Grid is a place to truly switch off. No neighbours, no Wi-Fi, and minimal phone signal — just space, birdsong, and the quiet rhythm of the bush.

Spend your days wandering the many trails, kayaking on your huge private dam, spotting kangaroos, echidnas and wallabies, or relaxing with a good book. As night falls, watch the sunset over the dam then light the fire and stargaze beneath vast, unpolluted skies.

Your stay is totally off-grid, rustic and minimalist, yet comfortable where it counts. Dog friendly and just 30 minutes from Bendigo and 40 minutes from Echuca, Wild Off-Grid feels a world away - without being far from anywhere.

Additional Information

Whilst we live in a house on the property with our red kelpie Otto, you won’t hear us or see us unless you want to. You have your own private gated driveway, and the map in your welcome pack shows where the house is so you can stay in your bush retreat bubble.

If you’re travelling with kids or you’re four adults looking for a place to adventure, relax and reconnect, we can set up an additional camping tent for $50 to accommodate two extra people. Just drop us a line before you book.

We are Glenn and Brydee, originally from the UK and NZ but now living our ultimate dream in the beautiful Australian bush. Our red kelpie Otto the cosmic bush dog also lives here with us. We have a deep respect for the land and a desire to share a slower, simpler way of being, with care for community and connection. Glenn is a fixer, maker and tinkerer who loves pool, golf and outdoor adventuring. Brydee is a history buff, loves being barefoot in the wild or floating in the ocean. Kayak On The Dam

Whip out the kayaks and go for a cruise out on the large dam right next to your camp site. Float, race or leisurely paddle taking in the beautiful scenery, birds and wildlife.

Bushwalk Your Private Oasis

Explore this beautiful property by going for a ramble on one of the many bush walking tracks. Take the map in your welcome pack and see if you can find the other dams, spot wildlife and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. You can also venture out into the National Forest.

We have two adult kayaks and two kids kayaks available for you to use during your stay.

We don’t recommend swimming in the dam at the moment, as there’s an increased population of leeches. Harmless and easy to flick off, but all the same we suggest staying in your kayaks!
