A boutique farm stay designed for slow weekends, long lunches and time together.
Mountain View Farm sits on the edge of Portland, offering sweeping escarpment views, complete privacy, and space to truly switch off.
Set on 6.5 acres of complete seclusion, the property overlooks expansive mountain and escarpment views, surrounded by native wildlife and open skies. It’s a simple, honest farm stay shaped by the seasons, the land, and the joy of gathering.
Designed for weekend adventures or midweek escapes, it’s the kind of place where families and friends come together for long lunches, fireside evenings, outdoor exploring, and uninterrupted time away from the city.
Days at the farm are slow, spacious and entirely your own.
Start the morning with coffee on the deck as the mist lifts over the escarpment. Afternoons are spent outdoors exploring the property, walking through nearby bushland, or simply watching kids and dogs run freely across the lawns.
Open the bifold doors and settle into long lunches that stretch into the afternoon. Lay out a picnic, play outdoor games, or try your luck catching yabbies in the dam.
As the sun sets, gather around the firepit, pour a drink, and watch the valley quieten as the stars come out. It’s not about doing more… it’s about being present and enjoying what’s around you.
The property is 50 meters from the local town common which is home to friendly horses, 700 acres of natural bushlands and the beautiful Williwa Creek. The property is pet friendly and has dam down the bottom (fenced from the house which has yabbies and turtles. We supply all picnic blankets and pillow, gumboots and yabby nets.

I grew up on a farm and have always dreamed of being able to live as sustainably as possible, whilst been connected to the natural environment. I want to share this way of living with other people. I have just purchased this property and welcome you to come and see the journey from now and till I get there.
