Perched high on a private rural property near Berridale, The Observatory offers wide-open alpine landscapes, big skies and sweeping 180-degree views. Quiet, elevated and beautifully remote, it’s the perfect base for snow trips, winter getaways and slowing right down.
Getting here is part of the experience. Access includes a 4km unsealed road and a steep, rocky 1km driveway. An AWD or 4WD is recommended, especially in snow or wet conditions — and the reward is privacy, space and unforgettable scenery.
Sleeping up to 8, the home is warm, comfortable and made for returning to after days in the Snowy Mountains.

The 3 bedroom chalet has been recently renovated from an 1980's "observatory", with a modern bathroom and kitchen with open plan living downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs.
