You can relax and watch the sun set from a hammock on the bow then prepare a meal on board in the fully- equipped kitchen, wander in to the yacht club restaurant Crusoe’s on the Lake for an award-winning dining experience.

You are more than welcome to stroll back to the boat with a cheeky dessert and wine. Chill out down below with your favourite movie, or just stargaze before snuggling in to your private floating cabin.

When you wake to the sounds of gently lapping water, you will be tempted to pop your head up through the hatch from your bed and watch the world wake up.

Additional Information

The boat has three cabins, with a double bed in each cabin. It can technically fit 6 people but is most comfortable with 2-4 people. Boats are cosy places!

The yacht has two bathrooms each with a hand-held shower. It is located in a pen at the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, and has full access to all yacht club facilities - restaurant, bar and amenities.

The sunsets over the lake are nothing short of spectacular, and experiencing a sunset from the hammock on the bow is a next-level awesome.

In winter, there is nothing more cosy than closing up the cabin, putting the heater on and chilling out. It is the perfect setting for board games, movies or long chats.

Our business is Lake Macquarie’s premier yacht charter enterprise offering unique accommodation and relaxing sailing experiences powered by the wind. We started Silver Sun Sailing in response to demand for an experience where people could relax and unwind while immersed in their natural environment. Guests can stay the night and enjoy stargazing from the bow or their bed listening to the gentle sounds of water lapping on the hull. And there is an option to add on a sailing experience (for an additional fee of $220 per person.)
