If you’ve been craving a change of pace without sacrificing comfort or distance, this luxury tiny retreat in Little River delivers.

Set on our working farm, the tiny home sits right at the rear of the property with open skies and wide views — wonderfully removed, yet still within easy reach of Melbourne and Geelong. Dot the horse will wander past, sunsets regularly steal the show, and the giant waterfall window means you can take it all in without leaving your bed.

Spend the day exploring the You Yangs or Great Ocean Road coastline, then return for a woodfired bath soak and an evening under the stars.

The Space

This architecturally designed tiny home blends luxury with simplicity and connection to its surroundings.

The main bedroom features a full-height waterfall window, framing open-sky views and night stars from the comfort of the king bed. There are no blinds by design — the landscape is the artwork — so bring an eye mask if you love a sleep-in… or wake with the sun, brew a coffee and take it out to the deck as the rest of the world wakes up.

The second bedroom upstairs is a loft accessed by a ladder - double skylights flood the loft with natural light and a super comfortable queen bed.

You’ll likely be accompanied by our incredible birdlife — willy wagtails darting about, wedge-tailed eagles soaring overhead, tawny frogmouths tucked into the trees, kites riding the breeze and some very friendly magpies who like to announce the morning.

Fully insulated, double glazed and fitted with split-system heating and cooling, the home stays comfortable in every season.

While the retreat is private, neighbouring properties are nearby — sunbathe, stargaze or embrace your inner free spirit at your own discretion.

Dot, our horse, is often part of the scenery and takes her role as unofficial welcome committee very seriously. We advise not to leave anything too close to her fence, lest you find it missing the next time you look!

Little River township is like stepping back in time - a country town that hasn't changed in the 11 years we've been here, famous for the fabulous pub, it's historic bluestone bridge & railway station, and let's not forget the giant boat in Joe's front yard!

Set on a working farm — you may see people, horses or daily farm activity, especially on a weekend, but we've tried to create a peaceful, private and uber comfortable space away from our hustle & bustle.

Maximum 4 guests - loft bedroom is not suitable for children.

No parties or additional visitors

No pets permitted, though we love our pets, we have enough of our own who enjoy their peace and quiet too

Electric fencing in use — please be aware that all white fencing is electric!

We have carefully and thoughtfully built & prepared our guest space, please remain within it :)

• Stargazing from bed may ruin city ceilings forever
• The hot tub is best enjoyed with zero notifications
• Dot the horse is friendlier than most neighbours but she will eat everything within reach (she's more Labrador than horse)
• You may arrive tired and leave plotting your escape from suburbia
• Pants are optional (curtains are not provided 😌)

Note - the base price displayed is for two guests, using the main downstairs bedroom. Use of the 2nd bedroom is $100 per night extra; up to a total of 4 guests. Children are welcome, at your discretion, and children up to 8 are welcome free of charge using existing bedding.
