Nestled within 100 acres of protected bushland on traditional Worimi Country and surrounded by Myall Lakes National Park, Bombah Point Eco Cottages is a place to slow down, reconnect and breathe deeply. Wake to birdsong, wander forest trails, enjoy the mineral pool, meet the chickens and relax beside a crackling wood fire. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, seeking adventure, or simply craving rest, Bombah offers a rare opportunity to reconnect with nature and leave feeling restored.

The Myall Lakes region holds deep cultural significance to the Worimi People, who have cared for this Country for thousands of years. We respectfully acknowledge the enduring connection of the Worimi People to these lands, waterways and wildlife, and feel privileged to be custodians of a small part of this remarkable landscape.

At the centre of the property is our welcoming reception area, where guests can enjoy the mineral swimming pool, complimentary Wi-Fi, organic fair-trade coffee, pool table, table tennis and a variety of spaces to sit, relax and unwind.

Throughout the property you'll discover walking trails, native wildlife, productive gardens, an orchard, free-range chickens and countless quiet places to sit and listen to the sounds of the bush.

A Day at Bombah

Wake to birdsong and enjoy a slow morning coffee on your private verandah before setting out to explore the surrounding region.

Spend your day kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, wildlife spotting, visiting nearby beaches, or simply relaxing with a book in a hammock beneath the trees.

Guests looking for a little extra indulgence can arrange an in-cottage massage or enjoy one of our breakfast hampers prepared and waiting in their cottage upon arrival.

As the afternoon light softens, return to your cottage for a BBQ on the verandah, a glass of wine by the fire, and a night beneath some of the clearest star-filled skies on the NSW coast.

For those wanting to explore further afield, the magnificent Worimi Conservation Lands are within easy reach. Home to the largest moving coastal sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere, this extraordinary landscape offers opportunities for sandboarding, four-wheel driving, cultural experiences and spectacular photography.

Cottage Features

Each cottage has been carefully positioned amongst the trees to maximise privacy and connection to the surrounding natural environment.

Inside you'll find a queen bedroom downstairs and an open loft sleeping area with additional beds, making the cottages equally suited to couples, families and small groups.

Wide-opening doors lead onto a private wrap-around verandah complete with a BBQ and hammock, creating the perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in the peaceful bushland surroundings.

Other things to note
Important Considerations Before Booking

Please take a moment to carefully consider whether an immersive Australian bushland eco-retreat experience is right for you before booking with us.

Bombah Point Eco Cottages are located deep within a natural bush environment, surrounded by Myall Lakes National Park. As custodians of this land, we coexist with nature rather than attempt to control it.

Insects & Spiders
Spiders, bugs and insects are a natural part of the ecosystem and, on occasion, may enter the cottages, particularly during warmer weather. This is simply the nature of staying in the Australian bush.

Native Wildlife
Guests may encounter a wide range of native wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas, as well as snakes, goannas, antechinus and other bush creatures. These animals are protected and an essential part of the local environment.

No Air Conditioning
Our architect-designed cottages are built for maximum airflow and passive cooling. Each cottage is equipped with powerful ceiling fans and portable fans. We do not provide air conditioning, as our eco-resort infrastructure does not support it.

Wood Fires & Heating
Each cottage is heated by a cosy slow-combustion wood fire, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere during the cooler months. A large load of firewood is provided for your stay, with additional loads available for purchase at $30 per load if required.

Detailed instructions are provided to help you get the most from your fire. For many guests, spending an evening beside a crackling fire with a good book, a glass of wine, or simply the sounds of the bush is one of the most memorable parts of the Bombah experience.

No Wi-Fi in the cottages (by choice)
We do not offer Wi-Fi within the cottages. This is a deliberate choice to encourage guests to step away from the hustle and reconnect with nature.
However, Wi-Fi is available at reception for guests to use if needed, and mobile phone reception is available throughout the property.

Rainwater Supply
Our property operates on a rainwater system. All water is filtered twice and is perfectly safe to drink. You may notice a slight tea-coloured tint at times; this is completely natural and comes from tannins released by surrounding tea trees and eucalyptus.

If any of the above aspects may cause discomfort or concern, our property may not be the right fit for your stay. For guests seeking nature, tranquillity and an authentic eco-retreat experience, Bombah Point offers something truly special
