Nature, Comfort & Connection at Bombah Point Eco Cottages

Nestled within a peaceful 100-acre bushland sanctuary and bordered by National Park, Bombah Point Eco Cottages offer a beautiful balance of nature, comfort, and genuine connection.

Each architecturally designed cottage is thoughtfully placed among the trees to provide privacy and serenity. Inside, you’ll find a spacious master bedroom with a queen bed and calming views of the surrounding native bushland—ideal for couples seeking quiet time in nature.

The spacious bathroom, finished with hand-crafted timber and a deep rainwater-fed spa bath, is designed to help you completely unwind and recharge.

The heart of the cottage is its open-plan living space, complete with a cosy wood fire, comfortable lounge, dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. With an oven, gas cooktop, fridge/freezer, and all the cooking essentials, you’ll have everything you need to prepare delicious meals, perhaps using local produce or herbs from the garden.

Step through wide-opening doors onto a wrap-around verandah where you can BBQ, swing gently in the hammock at sunset, or simply listen to the birdsong with a warm cuppa in hand.

Upstairs, the open loft bedroom features both a double and a single bed—perfect for families or small groups.

Wander through our flourishing gardens, where you’ll find a thriving veggie patch, fruit orchard and the cheerful company of Chickens and Guinea Fowl. Find a quiet corner to relax, read and listen to the breeze through the trees.

At the centre of the property, our welcoming reception area is a space to gather and unwind. Watch the sunset, take a refreshing dip in the mineral pool, enjoy an espresso made from organic fair-trade beans, or share a casual game of pool or table tennis in the games room.

Bombah Point is also a favourite setting for wellness retreats, offering a peaceful space for yoga, meditation, movement, creativity, or simply deep rest and connection to nature.

Whether you’re stargazing by the fire, spotting native wildlife, walking forest trails, or venturing to nearby lakes, beaches, and rivers, Bombah Point Eco Cottages invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and others.

Important Considerations Before Booking

Please take a moment to carefully consider whether an immersive Australian bushland eco-retreat experience is right for you before booking with us.

Bombah Point Eco Cottages are located deep within a natural bush environment, surrounded by Myall Lakes National Park. As custodians of this land, we coexist with nature rather than attempt to control it.

Insects & Spiders
Spiders, bugs and insects are a natural part of the ecosystem and, on occasion, may enter the cottages, particularly during warmer weather. This is simply the nature of staying in the Australian bush.

Native Wildlife
Guests may encounter a wide range of native wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas, as well as snakes, goannas, antechinus and other bush creatures. These animals are protected and an essential part of the local environment.

No Air Conditioning
Our architect-designed cottages are built for maximum airflow and passive cooling. Each cottage is equipped with powerful ceiling fans and portable fans. We do not provide air conditioning, as our eco-resort infrastructure does not support it.

Heating During Cooler Months
Each cottage is fitted with a cosy indoor wood fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere during the cooler months. A generous supply of firewood is provided for your stay, along with kindling and fire starters to help you settle in comfortably. Additional firewood can also be purchased if required for $30 per load.

No Wi-Fi in the cottages (by choice)
We do not offer Wi-Fi within the cottages. This is a deliberate choice to encourage guests to step away from the hustle and reconnect with nature.
However, Wi-Fi is available at reception for guests to use if needed, and mobile phone reception is available throughout the property.

Rainwater Supply
Our property operates on a rainwater system. All water is filtered twice and is perfectly safe to drink. You may notice a slight tea-coloured tint at times—this is completely natural and comes from tannins released by surrounding tea trees and eucalyptus.

If any of the above aspects may cause discomfort or concern, our property may not be the right fit for your stay. For guests seeking nature, tranquillity and an authentic eco-retreat experience, Bombah Point offers something truly special.
