The Cabin at Kevington
Set on the banks of the beautiful Goulburn River, surrounded by state forest, the cabin is ideal for an adventure filled getaway. You can choose to do a multitude of activities in the area or just relax by the river in summer, or by the fire in winter.
The spacious open-plan living and dining area has cathedral ceilings, a cosy wood-fired heater and fireplace made from locally sourced slate, a huge comfy couch and large dining table. Relics from the gold-mining days adorn the walls.
I wish to provide guests with a 'digital detox' so there is no TV and no internet. There is no mobile reception unless you are with Telstra so you can enjoy the feeling of being totally disconnected.
Music can be played on the Bose sound system using a device pre-loaded with music such as an iPod or iPhone. There is a large trunk full of games and jigsaw puzzles suitable for adults and plenty of books and magazines.
Floor to ceiling windows offer a lovely view across the lawn to the river and a glass door opens onto an expansive deck complete with comfy couch. The perfect spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or an afternoon drink and just enjoy the view whilst listening to the soothing sounds of the river....
