COTTAGE DETAILS
Located in the Tweed Valley surrounded by 3 World Heritage National Parks. The cottage sets amongst 130 acres of regenerated forest, tropical gardens, orchards, and veggie gardens.

It is a place to reconnect, rewind and rejuvenate. Perfect getaway for couples and solo travellers. The cottage has a good size kitchen, spacious living and outside area, comfy queen size bed and more! Beautiful creek and swimming holes are only a short drive away.

*Enjoy extensive walking trails on the property to soak up the beautiful views & nature. There are orchards where seasonal fruit may be eaten.
*Covered patio area equipped with modern BBQ and sun loungers to enjoy the outside living. Bench seat under the beautiful Mango tree providing the nice shade throughout the day.
*Kitchen is equipped with bar fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave and necessary kitchen tools. Oil, salt, sugar are provided as well as tea and coffee to enjoy.
*Extensive tropical gardens.
*Lots of birds and wildlife. You will have morning and late afternoon wallaby visits. We have very shy resident platypus in our dam.
*Comfortable open plan living area with DVDs, Bluetooth speaker, books, games and puzzles. (We have a computer screen to watch DVDs. Sorry, no TV reception or cable TV. You can bring your external hard drive with your own movie selections)
*Best suited to the couples, however, we can accept the additional guests who want to set up their own bed/tents. (Additional cost incurred). Sorry, we can’t provide any additional bedding.
*Bathroom is part of a covered patio area. Guests can choose the bathroom to be opened or closed.
*A composting toilet is in a separate small building (Enjoy the view from there).
*Owners live on-site (separate dwelling that is 60m away. There are lots of trees between the dwellings.) We can help with any questions or additional needs that you may have during your stay.
*Outside open fire under the stars is the best place to enjoy some drinks! (Firewood provided. Outside of fire ban period. )
*Bathroom is part of a covered patio area. Guests can choose the bathroom to be opened or closed.
*The cottage has very easy access from the main road (sealed) so you don’t have to worry about driving the dirt road or getting flooded in.
*The accommodation has a solar hot water system, 240V, and on dam water.
*A gas heater is available during winter. There is a fan but no air-con. The cottage has a fly screen.
*Local swimming holes and creeks are a short drive away for hot days.
*Mobile reception is very limited.
If you need to make phone calls, there is a landline available at owner’s dwelling with free local, national and mobile calls.

The guests have access to most part of our property. We have walking trails on the property where the guest can go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. Warning, Border ranges, Sphinx Rock and Mt. Burrell.

We are happy to help and interact. We are happy to give a tour of our property to show you our walking trails, dams, etc.

Your privacy is most important to us. The cottage is self-contained and 60 meters away from the main house. There are lots of trees in between the house and cottage, so the guest will have ample privacy.
