Lynden is a historic cottage conveniently located in the centre of Trentham. It provides a perfect location couples or families seeking a quiet weekend away or a relaxing holiday. Set among other traditional weatherboard homes in one of Trentham’s more historic streets, Lynden Cottage is a 2 minute walk from the town centre, while also being in easy walking distance of the beautiful Wombat State Forest.
Lynden Cottage was built in 1884, and has been fully renovated while trying to maintain its original charm. A semi-restored miner's shack dating back to the 1860s is just behind the cottage. A short stroll away you have access to great cafes, Red Beard bakery, and the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

The cottage includes polished timber floors throughout. A new kitchen provides all modern features, including dishwasher and microwave oven, along with a beautiful baltic pine table that seats 10.
There are three bedrooms able to accommodate 7 people, one with a king size bed, another with a queen size bed and TV, and the third with a bunk bed and a single bed.
The house is set on a large half acre block.
Long weekend and Easter minimum 3 night stay.
Longer stay price by application.
Note our base rates are for 2 people, and we charge an additional $40 per person per night. Note that we have security cameras that monitor the driveway, backyard and miner's cottage.
