Tawarri is a recently renovated, environmentally conscious, beautiful studio stone studio apartment. It has one spacious living area with a lofty vaulted ceiling and a luxury bathroom attached. Tastefully decorated, the Studio is well-appointed with aircon, kitchenette, TV and is nestled on an acre of bushland garden. It is 20m from the main house but separated by plantings and garden walls. Just 150m from the beautiful Glenelg River (Bocara, to the Gunditjmara people), and a stone's throw from the Lower Glenelg National Park, Tawarri is only 3.5km from the pristine beaches of Discovery Bay.

Tawarri is home to lots of native animals, including sugar-gliders, possums, wallabies, roos, echidnas and a wide range of birdlife. Its setting makes it ideal for walking, boating, swimming, bird watching, fishing or simply retreating from a busy life.

It is suited to singles or couples with one Queen bed. There are two camp beds in the cupboard that can be used either in the Studio itself or in the beautiful meditation room just 30m away (note, there is no power in the meditation room, so torches are a must). At this stage, we are unable to offer linen or towels, so ask that you bring your own. We will provide a doona cover and a bath mat, but ask that you bring your own queen-size bottom sheet and top sheet (or your own doona cover), pillowcases, towels and tea towels.

The luxury bathroom includes a large, deep bath with bushland views. Tawarri is supplied by rainwater and is entirely solar-powered. The kitchen has a great range of cooking facilities including hotplates, induction cooker, microwave, large electric frypan, and numerous electrical appliances provided for maximum guest comfort. The local well-stocked shop is open seven days.
