The Lodge enjoys sweeping views over the vineyard and winery, an ideal place to relax in a rural area with the company of your friends. The Lodge is fully self-contained, perfect for a weekend getaway in the country, and getting down and dirty with the local wildlife.
The Lodge is built in the Canadian style with timber walls and ceilings and was once the residence of Pieter himself, built at the same time as the cellar door and with all the quirks of a genius winemaker. It is a cosy space but with enough room for family or friends to spread out. The Lodge is situated up on a small rise from the winery itself, surrounded by vineyards, plenty of grass and trees dotted around. All this can be admired when sitting out on the large verandah sipping wine.

LODGE DETAILS
Guests will have private access to the entire cottage, including the land directly surrounding it. The cellar door will be open during business hours, and no booking is required for tastings. Open hours are 10 am-4 pm daily.
Pieter van Gent Winery & Vineyard is located about 10 minutes drive out from the centre of Mudgee. Close enough to town that coffee is always near but far enough out of town to see the stars in the night sky.
Access to the winery is by car or tour bus only with plenty of parking space. There is no public transport although there is a local taxi company that can be of service.
