Juniper & Rye is a cosy cottage escape designed just for two, tucked beside the beautiful Sherbrooke Forest in the Dandenong Ranges. Full of charm and character, this unique stay blends vintage style with modern comfort.

Relax by the real wood fire in winter, enjoy air conditioning year-round, and sink into the antique iron queen bed dressed in quality linen. The cottage also features stunning leadlight windows, a spacious walk-in rain shower, free Wi-Fi and a comfy lounge with a large TV.

The kitchenette includes a microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and essentials for light meals — though with cafés, restaurants and wineries nearby, you may prefer to dine out and explore the villages of Olinda, Sassafras, Belgrave and Monbulk.

Perfectly located for weddings at Lyrebird Falls, Nathania Springs, Poet’s Lane and other popular venues, Juniper & Rye is also close to gardens, walking trails, boutique shopping and local food spots throughout the hills.

Guests have private access and parking, with the cottage set separately on the owner’s property. A car is recommended for exploring the region.

The driveway entrance is steep and uneven in sections.
Wood fires are unavailable during the declared fire danger season and on Total Fire Ban days.
Wi-Fi can occasionally be unreliable due to the nature of the hills area.
A refundable $200 security bond is required prior to arrival.
