Self-contained Yurt and Bespoke luxe Shepherds Hut on 70 acres in Wingello with horses and dogs on the doorstep. A great base to discover the Southern Highlands.
Wineries, waterfalls, bushwalking, mountain biking, fabulous places to eat.
We now have the Yurt and a bespoke Shepherds Hut as a second bedroom for the Yurt. So now we can boast 1 1/2 bathrooms as the Shepherds Hut has her own toilet, queen size bed and kitchenette. You will find a welcome basket in both spaces.
The wood-fired pizza oven is there for a slow cooking afternoon. With fire pit (weather and fire season permitting)

Private Bbq on your veranda also double burner gas cooker. Wifi, Smart TV, Netflix and Foxtel
All your sheets and towels and single-use toiletries are provided.
Milk, butter, eggs, sugar, tea and coffee also pods are provided.
We are more than happy to provide fresh ground coffee beans for the plunger. Please don’t hesitate to ask. Our Rush coffee is too good to waste.
The price of $190 per night is for 2 people using the Yurt only
To use the Shepherds Hut accommodation for an extra 1-2 people is an extra charge per night.
As the shepherds hut is not attached we feel it can only accommodate children over the age of 16
A camp bed on the floor of the yurt can be added for younger children. You are welcome to bring your own cot
Please note that if you book for two people in the Yurt the Shepherds Hut will not be rented out during your stay ( you don’t have to share your bathroom)
If two people wish to book both the hut and the yurt you will need to book for 3 people to cover the second bed.
We have tried to think of everything you may need to help you enjoy your stay.
Gardens, pizza oven and walk out the drive into a pine forest
Due to the Covid guidelines, we are practising strict social distancing. Stay safe.
Wingello is a small town with a shop/cafe/post office and railway station.
Bundanoon is 15 mins away with pub, restaurants and cafes.
Marulan is 15 mins with an IGA, butcher shop and cafe
Tallong is 5 mins and has beautiful lookouts over the Shoalhaven River and its own boutique brewery “ Wyadra” and a cafe.
Berrima is 20 mins away and has lots of little shops a patisserie and a pub and the Berrima weir
Bundanoon is a 15 minute drive with cafes and a pub and lots of walking tracks

There is an IGA in Marulan 15 mins away with most things you could need.
There is a railway station within a kilometre of your stay in our yurt and shepherds hut.
Must love dogs. Due to our dogs and horses, we are no longer able to accommodate your dogs. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We would love it if you leave our yurt as you find it.
