Lovingly converted from a former church to a modern and stylish accommodation, guests who stay will have all of the modern day luxuries available and full access to the entire property and surrounding yard. Located in Miners Rest just 15 mins from Ballarat CBD its the perfect place to access all that Ballarat and surrounding areas has to offer.
Downstairs boasts a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook including a pod coffee machine (coffee included), microwave, and a dining area to seat 6 people.
The comfortable lounge is complete with a smart TV and DVD player and the reading corner has a comfy couch to curl up and enjoy a book or two. There are games available to keep the whole family entertained.
Maybe you are here for work reasons? There is a desk/work station which is the perfect place to sit and catch up on all your business needs. Wifi is also included.

St James Miners Rest is located in a quiet family friendly street in the suburb of Miners Rest just 15 mins from Ballarat CBD.Miners Rest is a largely growing area with a lovely community spirit.
Within a one minute walking distance there is a community park complete with BBQs, basketball court and BMX track.A few minutes walk further you will find yourself at the local Miners Rest Tavern where you can enjoy a cold beer or a country style meal. There is also an IGA supermarket close by and a general store. The general store has take away food including fish and chips, burgers etc.
Due to the beautiful, unique church windows in the downstairs area there are no blinds or coverings on them. We feel that this does not compromise your privacy in any way and the bathroom and bedrooms are completely private. If you feel that this might be an issue for you then this is not the right property for you to stay.
Please, note that you must be able to climb stairs to stay as the bathroom and bedrooms are located on the second floor.
Children are welcome but it is not recommended for small children to stay as there is no safety gate on the stairs. We also don’t provide high chairs or cots.
The church is strictly no smoking. No parties or functions allowed. Please respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
No pets allowed please inside or outside. If you are found to have a pet at St James your stay will be terminated and an extra cleaning fee will be payable.
On departure, please turn off all appliances and leave the property clean and tidy.
Dishes must be washed and put away or put into the dishwasher and washed before departure.
Please, clean the BBQ and oven if they have been used.
Please, remove any excess rubbish.
Note an extra cleaning fee may be payable if the church is left excessively unclean or if extra rubbish is left.
Please, do not park in front of the CFA located next door.
Please, respect the property as if it was your own and all damages and breakages must be reported as soon as possible. Any damages must be paid for.
