We are happy to leave you in privacy or to give you a tour of the property and show you our business which is natural horsemanship.

We are a rural community and are very proud of our local town of Cavendish. There is a cafe and general store the historic 'settlers walk' along the Wannon River and cemetery, police station, primary school, community hall and ANZAC memorial. Local events include the 'Fleece and Flower' show, and the bi-annual 'Redgum Festival'. Our local pub is owned by a co-op of local people, and the chef is renowned returned local James Campbell (raised here in Mooralla)

We are 2.7kms off the highway, at the very end of a well-maintained gravel road. We are 15kms from Cavendish and 40 km from Hamilton (our main shopping precinct) Just under 1 hour from Hall's Gap. We have plenty of room for parking, including access for horse floats and trucks.

We do not allow visiting dogs here, sorry! Please do not ask us to make an exception. We do not have wifi available, as we are in a 'black hole' area...your mobile will have very limited coverage. (you might see this as a good thing like we do right? Call it digital detox!)

Shoes off inside is appreciated.
Campfires must only lit if permission is given first.

'No go' areas ie machinery shed and horse areas must not be entered without host accompanying.
Please do NOT drop any rubbish no matter how small on the ground here. Place in bins provided at the buildings.

Please note our property is under 'Trust for Nature' which means it is valued as a conservation reserve. We do not feed the wildlife here for their own welfare as well as for the welfare of visitors, so please do not bring seed or feed for animals onto the property.

All interaction with our domestic animals MUST be under the supervision of your hosts. Please do not feed our domestic animals without our permission and supervision.

"We opened Wongaburra as a horsemanship centre late in 2007. We run horsemanship clinics and camps and enjoy sharing our property with others from all over Australia and around the world. We decided to create a B&B for public guests as well as our horsemanship students. We look forward to sharing our very special part of Australia with new guests, and offer a unique experience with horses, mountains, ancient redgums, kangaroos and emus as our backdrop". - Justin and Christine Corbidge Chris is a horsewoman with 30 years teaching experience, who travels across Australia and OS. Justin (also a horseman) is 'house husband', property manager and main caretaker. The care and development of Wongaburra has been a shared 'labour of love' for both of them since they fell in love with the property and purchased it in late 2006.
