Somers Cottage Studio - Where Vines Meet Bay

Professionally and lovingly styled in collaboration with Sourced Styling Studio, we've created a relaxed 'beach meets country' vibe. The Studio has been thoughtfully fitted & furnished to make the most of the space while providing the creature comforts required for a relaxing break.

The kitchenette has a full fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and induction hot plate along with tea and coffee/light breakfast supplies. A custom made, cement topped bar table provides extra bench space & seating for 2, it's a great breakfast spot & perfect for sharing platters with goodies gathered from the many local providores and vineyards.

A white linen love seat, leather ottoman, queen size bed & wall-mounted TV are enhanced by carefully selected decore items, quality linen, plants and unique touches. Large (under-bed) drawers and hanging space allow for belongings to be stowed away if desired.

The new en-suite features floor to ceiling tiling in white/sand tones & offers a roomy shower recess and slim-line vanity. A custom made timber shelf and quality bath products complete the bathroom ambience.

A unique feature of the Studio is the outdoor shower area exclusively for guest's use. It's so nourishing to bask in nature with the sounds of birds and sea, and the spectacular pink skies at sunset.

The Studio has its own patio area with an outdoor setting from which you can enjoy ocean sounds, birdsong and the entertainment provided by our chickens, Silky and Penny.

While set at the back of our home, we are mindful of guest privacy. Having worked in tourism and hospitality for many years and being regular guests at properties ourselves, we strive to offer a haven where guests can totally relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Somers.

On arrival guests can drive down the driveway and park outside the garage connected to the Studio to unload. They are then welcome to park in the upper car park (near the vegetable garden). There are no stairs leading to the French Door entry around the side of the building past the herb garden.

You’re in a great location, with ‘Somers Beach 100 Steps Beach Access’ just a short stroll down the street, and The Somers General Café a 15-minute beach walk away. Balnarring Shopping Village is about 7 minutes drive and there are many excellent wineries within a 20-minute drive. Exploring Redhill, Merricks, Point Leo, Flinders and all of the Western Port Bayside of ‘The Ninch’ is a visual and culinary feast. It’s the perfect spot for beach mornings and vineyard afternoons.

No candles in the Studio.
Be considerate of neighbours.
Please use boards and coasters on the cement bench at all times, and wipe up any spillages immediately to avoid stains.
No smoking in the Studio. If you intend to smoke please do so outside and dispose of butts responsibly.
Small pets may be accepted on a request basis. An extra cleaning fee may apply.
