An impressive open plan living room greets you with a cozy leather sofa, a large flat screen tv and a dedicated work space with access to WiFi. A full size modern bathroom, with a large rain shower head and a spacious bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed, full quality linen and another large, flat-screen tv for your Netflix fix.
Our open-plan Guest House has been gracefully finished with sophisticated plantation shutters, polished concrete floors and 2 air conditioners for your comfort. Laundry is hidden behind a huge sliding barn door with a front loader washing machine and a heat pump dryer at your disposal.
You have access to a private 10metre swimming pool, right outside your sliding door and your own patio and bbq area. Your retreat awaits!
You will have the entire guest house for yourselves. Access to pool and side verandah with bbq facilities. Onsite parking for 1 vehicle provided.
We will always respect your right to privacy during your stay. In saying that, we are happy to have as much or as little interaction as you like. If we cross paths in the shared spaces, please feel welcome and free to have a chat or share a cuppa. Please don’t feel like you have to spend all of your stay inside the guesthouse. Enjoy our outdoor spaces.
The location is perfect with Salamander Shopping Centre a short 5-minute drive away for all of your holiday supplies. We back onto Horizons Golf Course and access is just up the road.
Nelson Bay township offers an array of aquatic activities including our famous dolphin cruises. There is also an abundance of cafes, take-aways, restaurants and boutique shops on offer for you to enjoy. We have lots of parks to enjoy and Conroy Park offers BBQ's, picnic tables, and public amenities. This park is parallel to Corlette Beach which leads to the Anchorage Marina (4.8 ks) where there is a delightful restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and hosting a magnificent bay view.
Restaurants close by at Old Salamander Shops or you can take a short 10 min drive into Nelson Bay. We are centrally located between shops, beaches and restaurants.
Restaurants and shops are a close 5 min drive away. You can stroll down to Soldiers Point beaches and picnic parks. While most visitors get further afield using their own transport, bus, taxi and Uber services all operate locally.
