The Local House - Byron Bay

The Local House is nestled just off Bangalow Rd, in a beautiful part of Byron Bay.

Luxurious linens, feather quilts & herbal teas are just a few of the comforts provided.

The kitchen has a Nespresso coffee machine (with complimentary pods), gas cooktop, microwave, fridge, blender, kettle & toaster.

The light-filled bathroom features a waterfall shower, fluffy bath towels and Aspar Botanical Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash.

The Local House has complimentary WiFi, a TV with Netflix & a blue tooth speaker.

There is a front deck area with a daybed, providing the perfect place to read a book, have an afternoon nap or even a cocktail.

Dolphins beach is an easy 10-minute walk away or a few minutes on the bikes.

The Local House sleeps a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. A portable cot and highchair are available upon request.

The studio is well soundproofed and completely separate from the main house however we do ask guests to please be respectful of the family in the main house and our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.

Whilst you have complete privacy, we are available throughout your time with us to help with anything extra you may need.

For simple check-in there is a secure lockbox located at the entrance to the studio. We will provide you with all information needed prior to your stay.

The Local House is in a leafy area of Byron Bay and is very peaceful - being only 1.6 km from the centre of town. The location is within walking distance to Tallows Beach (800m, 9-minute walk) and only a short 2-3 minute drive to the town centre. Byron's best surf breaks are all in close proximity.

The iconic General Store & The Roadhouse Cafes are also within easy walking distance.

And if you don't feel like walking we have bikes available on request!
Take a short drive into the hills to experience the many delightful rivers, rainforest reserves and quaint townships.

For those interested in using public transport, the bus stops for both north and south directions are located on Bangalow Road, just around the corner.

The Ballina/Byron Gateway Domestic Airport is a 30-minute drive south of Byron Bay, Gold Coast Domestic/International Airport is a 45-minute drive to the north. Brisbane International Airport is an easy two hours north.

Regular shuttle bus services are available door to door to and from airports.
