You could also simply sit around the fire pit, hammock under the silver gums or unwind in the outdoor spa. Watch the sunrise and enjoy the mists as they form in the local valley. 50 minutes north of Tullamarine airport with both the Macedon Ranges and Heathcote wineries close by. Your bush studio retreat is separate from the main house and has a very comfortable queen size bed, modern furnishings, a smart tv, streaming services, kitchen, BBQ facilities, split system and wifi.

THE SPACE
The studio retreat is completely separate from the main house and the 20 acres have been planted with Ironbarks and Blue gums. There are very few houses that are visible, you can be guaranteed peace and serenity through out your stay. You'll have your own front deck with table and chairs, and a weber bbq, plus access to the hammock, fire pit and a range of games and books. We provide you with a variety of coffee, teas and basic cooking essentials, plus cookware, gas top element and a microwave and sandwich press.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have access to everything except the main house and walks are available through some of the neighbouring properties.

We can accomodate requests for furry friends to stay too. Please let me know beforehand what kind of pet/s you have during the booking request. We charge $20 per night for pets.

Hi, I'm Fiona :) Welcome to Misty Views retreat! My family has been in the area for over 50 years and I'm proud to keep the connection going, and offer it to others to enjoy as well. There's lots of birds, kangaroos, and we can get visits from echidnas and there's wombats around the creeks. I live in the house close to the studio, and can be available during your stay to assist with information about the local area, and places to visit, or to help with any queries or needs you have during your stay, like firewood for the pit, jacuzzi instructions, or my favourite wineries and food options. I'm also absolutely happy to leave you in total peace too. Upon request, I can provide a breakfast hamper of bread, eggs, bacon and condiments for $35 for two, which can be most useful if you arrive in the evening and just want to chill in the morning with a lazy lay in. We're a 15 minute drive into the town of Lancefield. Please let me know if you have any queries and look forward to welcoming you soon.
