Flamingo Cottage Waiheke

It sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms. Oneroa township is a 10 min walk away. Popular vineyards Mudbrick and Cable Bay a $10 taxi fare.

This is a 3 bedroom house however the 3rd bedroom is a small single and is approx 7ft x 6ft and is more suited to a child. We have had adults stay comfortably in this room but as noted it is small

The garage is locked because it contains our family stuff. Access to this is not available

We won't be there when you stay. But we are contactable via phone or message if you have any questions. We also have friends on Waiheke who can help out if we are unavailable

We are incredibly lucky to have access to Blackpool Beach from our backyard. We share this access respectfully with an ancient Maori site and ask guests to walk around the edge of the site, not directly through the middle of it or preferably walk around the road.

In the near future, a car will be available for hire with the cottage.

There is a Maori burial ground between the house and the beach, please respect the cultural significance of this space and the spiritual significance to the local Maori and do not under any circumstances go into the cemetery or use the cemetery as any sort of thoroughfare.

Water is very limited on the island, so please take short showers, or better yet, share the shower with a friend :) Only flush the toilet when you have to and don't run the dishwasher if it's only half full.

- We enforce the maximum number of guests at 5. Should we discover while you stay that there are more than 5 guests in occupation we will terminate your tenancy immediately and no refund will be provided for the remaining term

- Should we become aware of parties or large numbers of non paying guests on the property we will request they leave immediately. Failure to comply will result in your immediate eviction and forfeiture of all money paid.

- Ours is a quiet neighbourhood. We appreciate you respect our neighbours.
