Additional Information
Please note phone reception is sometimes non-existent. We do have satellite WIFI.
We do not have horse riding as insurance costs are too expensive.
Our two-bedroom cabin has a King bed and TV in the first bedroom. Sleeps 2. Electric blanket, heater and ceiling fan. The second bedroom contains two single beds with an additional single bed if needed.
Split system for heating and cooling.
We have a fire pit for toasting marshmallows or spuds. Please note fire pit is not available during fire restrictions. From October until April.
All linen is supplied along with a few pantry items.
Guests are welcome to bring their dogs and can have them inside as long as they are house trained. Please note, dogs must be on leash around farm animals at all times as we have found out the hard way that even a well-trained dog will chase animals unknown to it.
Please be aware we have dams on the property and two large bulls so children must have parents with them when walking around the farm.
Breakfast is supplied and is self-catered, consisting of free-range eggs, bacon, bread, and a variety of cereals. A variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as a coffee machine. We no longer supply coffee for machine as people have different tastes.
Guests can wander around Farm as long as gates are kept shut. No driving of vehicles allowed. Guests are allowed into various paddocks but please ask first as we have two large bulls.
Suitable footwear such as hiking boots or gum boots in winter are a good option.
We have a farmers market every weekend and are 15 minutes to Avoca wineries. An hour from the Grampian s 3/4 hour to Ballarat and half an hour to either Ararat or Maryborough.
Walking or bring your bike. Note no motorbikes are allowed.
We live next door and are available to take you around Farm to feed and show you animals.
Please look after B&B. NO driving of vehicles around Farm.
