Silver Lake Cabin #24 - Peace and Tranquility Awaits!
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: This rustic cabin is accessed via a very steep switchback trail without hand rails. The trail is not suitable for persons with mobility challenges or younger children...It's a bit of a precarious hike! It is highly recommended that you check-in during daylight hours.
The trail to the house is not lit. Also, this cabin does not include potable/drinkable water source. Water to the kitchen and bathroom is sourced directly from Silver Lake and is not treated. While fine for bathing and washing dishes, you will need to bring drinking water with you for beverage and food preparation. Please know this up front, as refunds are not provided.
If you're seeking a quiet and peaceful respite from the day-to-day rigors of the city, and you don't mind the quirks that come with staying in a "real" cabin, it's going to be hard to beat what this cabin-on-the-lake has to offer!

Modest in structure but dynamic in nature, this single-story, 2-bedroom, 1-bath rustic cabin is a real gem of a find. Stepping inside, you'll discover an open floorplan living/dining/kitchen area with a decidedly "retro" flair. The kitchen area features a new full-sized range/oven, an apartment-sized refrigerator/freezer, a dual compartment sink, and a countertop microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster.
The dining area features a table and four chairs. The living room area features ample seating, with a small flat screen monitor, a gas fireplace, and mind-blowing lakefront views! One adjoining bedroom features 1-full sized bed, and the second adjoining bedroom also features 1-full sized bed. An adjoining 3/4-bath (shower but no bathtub) rounds out the interior package.
BUT...the real magic happens just outside! A large deck features a BBQ and offers magnificent views of Silver Lake. Steps down to the lake itself reveals a floating boat dock. This wifi equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 4-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!)

PLEASE NOTE: WiFi service is now available to our area, and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WiFi SERVICE fails to function properly.
PLEASE NOTE: This cabin is a monitored family vacation home and not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to treat this private residence with the utmost respect at all times, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time.
Guests are directly responsible for their invitee's actions and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guest seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.
