This 2-story, 2+ bedroom, 1 ¾-bath 1500 sq ft rustic cabin features lots of country charm with modern conveniences! Entering through the side entrance brings you into an open and airy living/dining area with a freestanding gas fireplace, a full-size futon, a flat-screen monitor with wifi, a separate kitchen with all new appliances including a dishwasher, one bedroom with 1-queen size bed, and one full bath. Ascending the second floor you’ll discover an open loft sleeping area with 2-twin size log beds, a partitioned ¾-bath, and one bedroom with a 1-queen sized bed, plus a laundry area with a washer and dryer. Just outside the main floor is a covered country-style porch—perfect for sipping your favorite afternoon beverage, and a gas grill. This pet-friendly family vacation property says “cabins-in-the-mountains” and sleeps 6 to 8-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy).

NOTE: Guests may recognize this cabin as our previous “Cabin #45”…an area favorite. The new owners have really stepped-up to make their cabin an even more enjoyable experience with new kitchen appliances, new beds, and a great gas fireplace!

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and nature viewing. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

The Baker Bus is a daily bus service to Mt Baker Ski Area. Leaving from Bellingham, and servicing Kendall, Maple Falls and Glacier. The Baker Bus is operational only when Mt. Baker Ski Area is open.

View the gorgeous scenery at your own pace. Mount Baker hosts multiple hiking trails, from easy stretches to "experienced only" trekking. The Pacific Crest trail goes right through the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie Forest. Check out the trail conditions at the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest website or at the Mount Baker Hiking Club’s site. Take guided hikes or just to meet fellow hikers!

The Nooksack river is one of the last "wild" rivers in Washington state. Five species of wild salmon swim and flourish is its waters. Nearby, you can enjoy Silver Lake, which is stocked with trout. You can even go deep-sea fishing!
