Nestled against the backdrop of Cambewarra Mountain, our adults-only Rose Cottage is the ideal spot for a romantic couple's getaway. Built in 1851, this heritage-listed beautifully renovated Settlers cottage will transport you back in time, giving you a deep appreciation for the history of this unique property originally called “Rosehill” and allow you to slow down and relish in intimate moments with your partner.

Start the day slow with a morning coffee and book on the verandah or simply lay in bed watching an iconic romantic movie as you inhale the fresh country air passing through the old French wooden doors leading out to the balcony, before easing into a day exploring the tranquil property and surrounding historical towns of Berry and Kiama. End your day by stepping into the magnificent vintage iron claw foot bath for the ultimate sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.

- located at the front of the property with its own parking spot
- the cottage gives complete privacy from the rest of the property
- it features a queen-sized bed in a separate bedroom
- the bed has heated blankets underneath and the bedroom has AC for extra heating
- all bed linens are drycleaned and ironed by a professional linen service to be in line with the hygienic standards required
- same procedure for all our towels which we provide as well
- even though limited kitchen facilities still there is a fridge, microwave, toaster, water kettle, electric espresso machine, crockery, cutlery, and a small electric frypan.
- a Weber BBQ for use on the verandah.

Please Note - There are limited cooking facilities in this cottage.

- in the bathroom, there is a claw and ball freestanding bath in a huge bathroom with a large separate shower.
- Outdoor & Indoor fireplaces are available
- during the winter months, we'll supply 1 basket of Firewood
- If you require any further wood this must be obtained by the guest (we have all details of local shops sent prior to arrival).
Tip: Only use small pieces in this fire to get the most efficiency.

A $300 bond will be charged to cover extra cleaning/damage.

*Please be aware of very weak Wifi (rural areas)
*As much as we love children, this cottage is not recommended for children
*But it's ideal for infants, baby cot available free of charge upon request

Cambewarra Mountain Cottages operates with 2 cottages on the 1-acre property with the owners also living in a separate house.

The Rose Cottage is at the front of the property and The Barn Cottage at the rear ensuring all guests have their privacy.

Please Note - limited cooking facilities in this cottage.
Still, the Rose cottage offers a microwave, sandwich maker, an electric fry pan, crockery, cutlery, fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, and toaster. A Weber BBQ is placed on the Verandah.
