Located just 12km from Apollo Bay, along the picturesque Barham River Road, makes this the perfect base for exploring all that Apollo Bay and the Otway region has to offer, or even better, stay put and breathe in the fresh forest scent, listen to the call of the many birds, the sound of the river and just chill.
Blackwood Cottage is one of two holiday cottages to be found at Tall Trees Eco Retreat. This 2 bedroom cottage has 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, a wood fireplace (wood supplied), a BBQ on the verandah, and a spa bath.

Additional Information
The property is a mix of mostly rainforest and some cleared land toward the top of the ridge which has amazing views across the Otway National Park. The walk up is fairly steep but well worth it. There are other less strenuous walking tracks on the property also and it's a short walk to the bridge over the Barham River to the picnic area at the end of the road.
We have an abundance of birdlife, and many other native animals. A highlight of the property is our very own Glow Worm walk which extends down the drive between the gully and the swampy dam. These delights can be seen on the high side of the road when it is completely dark.

PLEASE NOTE - There is NO mobile, internet, or television reception. Limited satellite internet can be located down at the old farm if required.
