The Hideaway At Mason Lake

Our open floor plan allows everyone to be together for morning coffee or jam sessions on the turntable.
Create delicious meals in our chef's kitchen with an extra-large island for prepping and dining. If the weather allows, take your meal outside and enjoy the fresh air while you dine on our outdoor dining table.
Cozy up with a good book in our Cuddler or snuggle in on the sofa to watch Netflix.
We hope you'll get a great night's sleep on our Brooklyn Bedding King mattress or the Tuft and Needle Queen bed in the 2nd Bedroom. Wake up refreshed and enjoy a cup of joe from the coffee maker, Nespresso, or french press. Take a bath in the soaking tub in our main bath or a luxurious shower in our massive two-headed shower in the ensuite bath. However you spend your time, we know you will be able to relax and find peace at the Hideaway at Mason Lake.

There is plenty of room to park. We even have an RV hook-up! Currently, we do not allow guests to use the garage. (please let us know ahead of your stay if you will be needing the EV or RV hookups.)

We will give instructions on how to access our home once you book. If you would like us to meet you and hand off keys, that can be arranged, but you will likely not see us.
We will be available by text and, depending on the time of day, we can be to the home within the hour if you need help with anything.

Mason Lake is a beautiful lake to explore. With no quiet times, you can have all the fun of being on the lake and then come back to a quiet retreat in the woods. Only 20 minutes from the Alderbrook resort you can enjoy dining, golfing, hiking, the spa, and year-round phenomenal views of the Olympic Mountains. Also, just about a 20-minute drive from Belfair and Shelton if you want to go for pizza or enjoy some shopping.

Twahno State Park is about 15 minutes drive and has public access boat launches into the Hood Canal, a beach, and more hiking!

Belfair is about a 20-minute drive and has two grocery stores, many coffee huts and gas stations, fast-food, bars, and the North Mason Chamber of Commerce.

Shelton is about a 25-minutes drive and has a Walmart, fast food, gas stations, bars, antique stores, and the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce.

Hoodsport is about a 35-minute drive and has a couple eateries and wineries, a distillery, the Staircase Rapids Nature Trail, and water access to the Hood Canal.


Smoking is allowed outside of the home. Please also respect any burn ban in effect.
