Positioned high in a natural bushland setting with awe-inspiring views of the Brokenback Ranges, we are surrounded by neighboring farms and lush, rolling pastures and are home to an abundance of native wildlife. Have coffee with the cows or enjoy a wine with the Wallabies, yet remain in close proximity to the Hunter Valley’s finest cellar doors, restaurants, and attractions. Located in picturesque Mount View, the jewel of the Hunter Valley, we are just 2hrs drive from the Sydney, where you can escape the city and retreat to our quaint, therapeutic Cottage.

Eco-passive and architecturally-designed, the Cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults and is ideal for couples, small groups or small families. The 2 bedroom suites are located at opposite wings of the Cottage for maximum privacy, each with its own beautifully appointed hotel quality king-sized bed and luxurious ensuite bathroom. With stunning views of the surrounding picturesque countryside and the Brokenback Ranges from all rooms, the Cottage is private, stylish, secluded and contemporary with polished concrete floors, a slow-combustion fireplace and kitchenette. The Cottage is a smart design, with natural light and ventilation. All rainwater is harvested and passive solar exposure ensures absolute comfort throughout the year. The generous living area connects to a sun-filled north facing outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy a wine and a barbecue under a starlit sky or listen to the bellbirds amidst the heady perfume of the blossoming wisteria.

BREAKFAST
All of our tariffs include a generous, complimentary fresh breakfast hamper for one morning, with refreshments, bacon, eggs from our own free range chooks, milk, juice, gourmet muesli, home-baked bread and other goodies, as well as a fine selection of gourmet tea.

PLEASE NOTE
In order to remain competitive and reduce costs to our guests, our Cottage tariffs are based on a per couple/per bedroom tariff. Should 2 adults travelling together (not a couple) require both bedrooms, an additional $120 surcharge applies.

Being in a rural area, and although improving, mobile phone coverage on the property is limited but you can use Wi-Fi calling on your device instead. Both our Cottage and Homestead are equipped with a landline telephone installed for our guests' convenience, with unlimited free calls to other landlines and mobile phones within Australia.

Due to its location and in the interest of guest privacy, the in-ground saltwater swimming pool on the property is for the use of our Homestead guests only.
