Welcome to Dixie Margaret, a cute Little house by the Sea named in memory of my Grandmother's.
My family adores spending time here by the Sea, amongst the wondering garden that offers so many places to sit and be.
It is very very close to the beach and a quick, peaceful walk to Yabbarra or Duesburys Beach (dog friendly) and a quick 5 minute drive to the local IGA. That's where we go for cheese, red wine and Honour Bread. An 8 minute drive to Narooma for more essentials.
For those that enjoy surfing..... you don't need to drive, you can easily run down and head home for an outdoor shower.
We have regular visits from Wallabies and Bell Birds and we are UNPLUGGED

Hello, I have a small gated vege patch down the back and you are welcome to pick herbs etc for cooking. If you feel like pottering in it, please you are more than welcome. I can't help myself when I am in a garden. Don't forget to shut the gate as the Wallabies love hanging in there.
Please note in Winter that we allow the indoor fire on and have a large supply of kindling. We don't supply the actual fire wood but you can grab a bag at any service station (approximately $18) that would easily last 3 days. There are some larger logs down the back of the property that you can use but they are best after the fire has been burning for a solid few hrs. Please message me if you have any questions.
Awesome places to eat and drink in Dalmeny/Narooma. Try Wildflower organics Dalmeny, Bound to Earth for Coffee, The Quarterdeck for lunch and dinner and The Oyster Farmers Daughter for well.... Oysters etc
For some formal Dining try The Whale at Narooma. Merivale has created an amazing experience and has a wonderful range of Beverages. We love the Rose.
We have nearby Tilba to visit with its green pastures and gorgeous little Historical Town
A quick trip down to Bermagui (the Pub is awesome) is a must and then come back to Dalmeny via Cobargo. I love to stop there and support this little Town as they were severely affected by the Fires.
