I recently celebrated my birthday at the enchanting Ayala Yurt in the secluded forests of Victoria. Nestled in a peaceful glade, this authentic Mongolian yurt offered a romantic and serene escape from the everyday hustle, and it was everything we needed! As we walked through the trees and caught our first glimpse of the yurt, surrounded by lush bushland and serenaded by native birds, we knew we were in for a special experience.

The yurt itself was a blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, with a cozy double bed under a mosquito net canopy, an outdoor kitchen, and a hot-water shower. The real highlight, though, was the unique wood-fired hot spring rock pool. Spending evenings soaking in the naturally heated waters, sipping wine, and enjoying the local fare was pure bliss. The warmth of the wood stove in the yurt added to the cozy, womb-like atmosphere, making our stay incredibly relaxing and restorative.

Our days were filled with scenic drives through the breathtaking Black Spur, exploring the majestic Redwood Forest, and marvelling at the autumn vibes along the Gould Memorial Drive. Each adventure added to the magic of our stay, creating unforgettable memories.
