Secluded Blue Mountains Cottage

Tucked away at the foothills of Mt Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, Potters Studio is a peaceful and private hideaway. After a scenic two-hour drive from Sydney, the first thing you’ll notice is the vast, sweeping view of the valley below the escarpment — a breathtaking welcome. This cosy, rustic cottage, with fires crackling in the living room, is the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure.

Each morning, we woke to golden light spilling over the frosty valley, sipping coffee in bed while watching birds and kangaroos through the large bedroom window. Days were spent exploring nearby hiking trails, discovering scenic lookouts, and wandering through charming village towns in search of coffee and antique treasures. Evenings became a gentle ritual of dinner and card games by the fire, as the sunset lit up the cliffs in warm hues.

Potters Studio is the ideal weekend escape — whether you're an adventurous hiker or a book lover seeking stillness in nature.
