Out of Reach

Escape the chaotic city life and step into a world of bliss and simplicity at Malniri Park.
Beyond the loud and bustling city of Sydney, you’ll find yourself amongst the breathtaking sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, canyons and beautiful farmland vistas that surround the Blue Mountains National Park. A private retreat awaits with elevated bushland views over the Hawkesbury valley.

Nestled on the hillside, Malniri Park’s Tiny House is warm and inviting. It feels so much bigger once you open a door and pull up the blinds to gaze at the amazing views. The surrounding meadows and green hillsides will instantly put your mind at ease. As you wake up to the sounds of nature and take a breath of the crisp morning air, you’ll remember the importance of the simple things in life.

We were excited to arrive at our tiny house retreat in Freemans Reach. It did not disappoint!
Once we opened the door, we were welcomed by the subtle scent of lavender and the warmth of blankets, books, tea and coffee along- everything we needed for an amazing getaway. The attention to detail was second to none. Malniri Park’s Tiny House is open plan with stairs to access the cozy bedroom that has one of the best views to fall asleep and wake up too.

Surrounding the tiny house is a green paddock dotted with white clover. We decided to take this sunny afternoon to have a picnic overlooking Malniri Park’s captivating property. A cheese platter, wine, beer, seasonal fruits and Polaroid photos to capture memories is what I would call the perfect end to a great day! Malniri Park’s best feature would have to be the fire pit. Cuddled up with blanket and cooking s’mores under the starry night cannot get any more romantic.

Waking up at dawn with a nice cuppa, we were excited for the day to begin! Once we packed the snacks and pancake mix, we were ready to hit the road. Our adventure took us to the Three sisters to say a quick hello and then we went off the beaten track through the dirt and winding roads of the Narrow Neck plateau. Overlooking the ranges of Narrow Neck, we set up our camping stove and made some pancakes for breakfast. Admiring one of Australians most treasured natural sites while we ate our breakfast was one of the highlights of the trip.

After breakfast, we ventured to the Valley of Waters track to locate Empress Falls and have a sneaky dip. The sandstone stairs, the brilliant green rainforest, along with the magnificence and relaxing sound of the waterfall created a mystical aura. The fresh cold spring waters cascading down the series of mini waterfalls was powerful, beautiful and awe-inspiring. We set up camp right next to the waterfall and could not help but to dip our toes in.

After our long day of exploring the magical Blue Mountains area, we made a pit stop at Windsor and discovered an amazing cafe. The sound of chatter and laughter along with the aroma of coffee and pastries filled the air as we walked into the George St Loft. A hot cappuccino with an almond croissant for Shay and a banana smoothie for myself as we chatted about our wonderful stay at Malniri Park’s Tiny house.

The lovely owners of Malniri Park made sure that our stay was both comfortable and relaxing. They provided us with great local knowledge for our day trips, cafes and restaurants. After our visit to Malniri Park we were left feeling rejuvenated and stress-free. We highly recommend a stay at Malniri Park’s Tiny house, unique and beautiful accommodation and an amazing region to explore.
