Little Luxury

Breaking out of town a for a weekend of adventure and hiking was exactly what we needed after a long week stuck indoors. The Rendezvous Nexus offered us the perfect location between our splendid hikes to the surrounding national parks and out hot air balloon adventure in Yarra Valley.

The tiny house is located on a small property with enough space to stretch your eyes and submerge in the wild surrounding nature. Wildflowers were growing all around the sounds of the Australian songbirds whistling on the wind provided the perfect setting.

After long days of hiking through national parks, we were able to come home to our little castle. We kicked off our shoes, relaxed with some dinner, caught the sun setting through the trees and had a roaring fire just beside us to balance it everything out. There was everything we needed, and more.

The tiny house is equipped with a full range of cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, gas cooktop, shower and a small fridge for the basics. There is an outdoor firepit for relaxation and campfire songs and an indoor fireplace that kept us cosy and warm through the nights.

The location allowed us to travel to all of the surrounding national parks, including Kinglake and Toolangi. If we needed supplies, the Kinglake township was a roughly 15-minute drive away.

This is the perfect place for two adventurers to call home for the weekend.
