Hi, I'm Ellen

My son describes me as a retro swag hippie /cool mom. I'll hold onto that one for awhile. ;) I am also a rescued metal artist/zen art designer. The river is my happy place. I live on the South Fork of the Snoqualmie river, adjacent to a small lake and surrounded by mountains. My art studio/metal working shop is on my property. I get my inspiration from nature and the river...I try to stand in it and spend at least a few minutes breathing deeply near it and playing with rocks every day. My amazing Macgyver-like, hard-working, wood, metal and glass artist boyfriend lives here too, working in my studio, making everything work better and laboring to help create and improve this paradise spot on the river. A very friendly indoor/outdoor cat named Casper also lives here.
