We bought 2 churches on High Street in July '24, and spent the past year and a half on restoration and renovation. We restored the old 1850's timber church so we could expand our specialist wine shop and enable us to offer a warm space to gather and sip wine in the winter, and a cool escape in the heat of the Summer.
The 1950's brick church had a mezzanine floor installed in the 1980s, but we've partitioned the lower level to create a studio apartment with a private entrance, a secure courtyard, 2 queen bedrooms, a living space, a kitchenette and a bathroom.
