Nestled on a lush hillside in the Northern Rivers, Weedy Garden Glamping offers a peaceful escape surrounded by abundant food forests, fresh air, and nature at its finest.

Known from the popular YouTube channel The Weedy Garden, you stay in a beautifully styled air conditioned and heated 6 m bell tent and experience slow living, and the magic of the food forest.

Facilities are simple, rustic, and part of the experience — including a compost toilet (the “loowithaview”), a bush kitchen with gas stove and fridge, a fire heated outdoor bath tub, and everything you need for a comfortable stay close to nature.

Throughout your stay, you’re free to enjoy the space at your own pace — soak in the fire-heated outdoor bath under the stars, cook in the bush kitchen, or simply wander and take it all in.

Nimbin is only 15 minutes drive and has a bunch of good places to grab dinner. We had a great wood fire Pizza at Armonica Cafe.

Feasting In The Quaint Town Of Nimbin

Known as the cannabis capital of Australia, here you'll find plenty of Mary Jane's treats amongst beautiful flora and fauna. If that's not your thing, you can also find quirky apothecaries, jewelers and cafes in the small town of Nimbin, we decided to take a break and have lunch at The Feast cafe to rest our feet. Here we had outstanding falafel pita wraps the size of your head and were well and truly impressed by the quality and the cost. Come with an empty stomach!

Nimbin Candles

Nimbin Candles have been producing non-toxic, hand-dipped, traditionally made candles since 1973. The shop is basically in the factory so you can watch candles being made while browsing the many unique and colourful candles and beautiful scents. They have rad tee-shirts for sale too!

As a moderate level of difficulty, there is plenty of mud, climbs and off-road fun to be had. Located pretty well next-door to the camping location, the property backs onto loads of 4wd tracks.

Mountain Bike Riding

As we weren't Mountain bike riders ourselves, it was obvious that there were plenty of good tracks around the property; wooden ramps, windy trails, hops and jumps for all levels of riders. Also very easily accessible from the campsite being next door.
